Hilltop RTH, a 5 bed facility, is located on a hill in a quiet neighborhood in Pendleton; the staff works closely with Lifeways MH to provide frequent outpatient services to all residents, with the residents being involved in a variety of group activities aimed at having residents learn skills to become more independent and/or transition to a lower-level of care.

PGH is a 3-story building located in the downtown area of Enterprise that is privately owned; they accept both ECMU and community residents alike. The facility is within walking distance to Wallowa Center for Wellness MH clinic. PGH offers complete in house Medication Management, Professional Cooking staff, Part-time nursing staff available, Full Recreation Room ( includes pool table, and exercise equipment), Weekly House activities (includes chess, poker, bingo, casino, and movies nights). Outdoor activities to include fishing year round, spring through fall camping, with summer lake, fireworks and horseback activities and community activities, Chief Joseph Days Rodeo, Classic Car Shows, Hells Canyon Mule Days.

WRH is a new 11 bed facility that is medically enhanced with 24-hour nursing available. Each room is actually designed as a semi-independent apartment, each equipped with a living room, dining room, bathroom with shower bench, bedroom, several closets, and some with kitchens. There are also 2 lounging rooms, with computers, large-screen TV’s, and couches.

Independence Place is a 9-bed, ECMU-funded facility that is a dually-diagnoses treatment program that works mostly with residents who have drug and alcohol issues combined with mental health issues. Residents are required to participate in the program, and are encouraged to stay until they have graduated. Staff then will assist residents in transitioning to a lower-level of care, or to independent living.

Getting You on the Road to Recovery
Sage View Acute Psychiatric Center at St. Charles Bend is the only acute inpatient psychiatric facility east of the Cascades. We provide intensive, solution-focused therapy on a short-term inpatient basis to begin healing damaged emotions, addictions, mind and spirit, broken lives and relationships.
At Sage View, we help people start their road to recovery from acute psychiatric illness. Our goal is to return patients to full participation in their families, jobs and community as quickly as possible. Our healing health method - mind, body and spirit - combined with group and individual therapy help people stabilize and begin recovery from acute mental health crises.
Some of the common problems we treat include:
- Suicide attempts and suicidal thoughts
- Depression
- Bipolar disorder
- Thought disorders
- Anxiety
- Panic disorders
- Post-traumatic stress disorder
- Co-occurring disorders such as substance abuse
We take an interdisciplinary approach by providing highly qualified, board certified psychiatrists, masters-level therapists, licensed psychologists, psychiatric nurses, recreation therapists and other clinicians. These professionals work together to develop and implement a comprehensive treatment plan that addresses the unique situation of each individual.
A variety of modalities are used including individual, group and family counseling, pharmacology and therapeutic and recreational activities.
