Facility Development
The EOHSC region currently has one 8-bed SRTF with a Respite Unit under construction. This project is located in Heppner the facility, Lakeview SRTF, will be owned and operated by Community Counseling Solutions (CCS) the community mental health provider for Morrow, Wheeler, Grant and Gilliam Counties. The targeted completion date is February 2010.

Center for Human Development the community mental health provider for Union County along with EOHSC is in the process of creating a proposal to build a 16-bed Class I, SRTF in La Grande. This facility will be licensed as a "hold" facility and serve as a Acute Care Facility for the region. At this time the EOHSC region has no Acute Care Facility making the development of this project critical.
